Key Responsibilities Build a strong and high-quality DevOps application
Set up secure windows, Linux, and container infrastructure to advance performance
Improve cloud platform for increased delivery speed and product flexibility
Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log and monitoring services
Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuously
Troubleshoot any operational issues related to the infrastructure
Collaborate with internal teams and respective stakeholders to understand user requirements and implement technical solutions
Monitor all events in the cloud environment to allow normal operations and detect and escalate exceptional conditions.
Responsible for PETRONAS Cloud technical Operations Function which consists of Metering and Asset & Configuration Management,
Track and log the usage/consumption of raw Cloud technology components
Organize the consumption data by Cloud technology component
Maintain an up-to-date configuration management database (CMDB) to track status and enable the recovery to previous versions of the live environment where required
Monitor, measure, report and review existing Cloud technology components
Provide L2 and L3 support for Cloud infrastructure.
Communicate service delivery health to service teams, and potential business/application stakeholders; explain any performance hiccups / risks / issues.
Support incident identification, prioritization, categorization, and resolution activities in consultation with incident teams.
Ensure continuous optimization of Cloud Resources across AWS and Azure estates along with Cloud FinOps Engineer
Responsible for managing and creating RAIDs, Raid Group, Storage Group, Pool Group, Thick and Thin provision block devices.
Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches
Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets.
Automate complex configuration, troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving of the Network related service
Fix identified network vulnerabilities highlighted as per the network scan and audit reports, as well as IDS/ IPS solutions
Ensure optimized bandwidth usage for OT network by segmentation
Track network related metrics (Link Availability, Packet loss, Bandwidth utilization etc.) Must-have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform and OpenShift
Expertise in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration tools Ansible/ Puppet
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
Knowledge of Cloud CLIs, Bash, Linux Shell, PowerShell scripting
2 - 4+ years of experience as a cloud engineer with sound Knowledge of AWS, AZURE and OCI
Extended experience with IaC (Infrastructure-As-Codes) and automated single-click deployment, configuration management and production support
Expertise in CICD pipelines especially in Azure DevOps
3-5 years of Cloud/ Data center operations experience.
3+ years of experience in ITSM processes like Incident and Problem.
Skilled in system-level architecture, like Linux or Windows
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical instructions/details to non-technical users.
Ability to multitask to facilitate the resolution of multiple incidents and collaborate with cloud vendors.
Capable of quickly learning new technologies and procedures.
Provide extended support coverage as needed during High Priority issues.
