Role Overview
The position is responsible for designing and implementing Azure-based shared solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices. You will serve as an Azure subject matter expert, leading cloud transformation initiatives while ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud solutions in line with organizational needs and industry standards.
- Provide expert guidance across Azure services including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.
- Lead end-to-end cloud migration projects from on‑premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
- Collaborate with security, DevOps, and application development teams to enhance cloud workload performance and reliability.
- Develop and manage Azure governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Conduct technical assessments, solution evaluations, and proof‑of‑concept (PoC) activities for Azure implementations.
- Support pre‑sales engagements by offering technical insights, preparing solution proposals, and presenting to customers.
- Stay informed on Azure innovations and identify opportunities for optimization or automation.
- Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions on Azure best practices.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure implementation.
- Experience working in enterprise or system integrator environments; familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
- Microsoft certifications preferred, with strong interest in continuous cloud upskilling.
- Experience designing infrastructure solutions across Linux/Unix and Windows platforms in private, hybrid, or public cloud environments is beneficial.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, automated release pipelines, and multi‑cloud environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and operate under pressure.
- Willingness to work on rotational shifts when required.
- Self-driven individual capable of driving improvements in dynamic, unstructured environments.
