Role Description This full-time Cluster Assistant Catering Manager role is an on-site position based in Batu Caves. The role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events across multiple properties, ensuring consistent quality and service standards. Responsibilities include wedding events, private event and MICE evnts. The role also includes managing guest enquiries, handling last-minute changes, monitoring event execution, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Ability to penetrate wedding events within the hotel radius.
- Strong customer service skills to handle guest interactions, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive relationships with client.
- Experience in event management is a must.
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, ideally in an executive level.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events and priorities across a cluster of properties.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with kitchen, service, and sales teams.
- Flexibility to work on, weekends, and public holidays according to event schedules.
- Relevant certification or diploma in hospitality, culinary arts, or hotel management is an advantage.
