Job Description

Summary:

The Cluster Road Safety Manager is responsible for defining, steering, and ensuring the successful implementation of the Road Safety program across the Cluster. You will provide strategic oversight to affiliates to drive continuous improvement in road safety performance and compliance, ensuring full alignment with the Group Road Safety program and IMS requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the Cluster Road Safety yearly roadmap, including critical initiatives like the rollout of the Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) across the EAP Cluster.
  • Implement and ensure the Cluster Community of Practice (COP) is effectively operational, issue monthly reports on key trends, and monitor cluster road performance and driver events.
  • Ensure Road Safety Events (RSE) are accurately reported and lead the Road Safety RCA reviewing committee to validate Root Cause Analyses for Serious RSEs. Oversee the creation of the Cluster Road Safety Control Tower.
  • Drive measurable improvements in safety indicators, including the reduction of preventable fatalities and injuries (LTA/NLTA), maintaining high compliance levels, and ensuring timely completion of road safety audits and driver coaching.
  • Grow expertise by leveraging predictive analytics to forecast safety events, transitioning from reactive measures to AI-assisted proactive management.
  • Develop international site experience by conducting site visits to verify compliance. Work closely with the Group SIS Road Safety Director, the Cluster Industrial Direction, and Procurement to align strategies and manage supplier compliance according to Air Liquide standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience. Previous professional experience in road safety management is highly preferred.
  • Analytical capability to understand and to lead root cause analysis and technical investigation methodologies.
  • Possess strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to exercise safety leadership across multi-national communities. You are a clear communicator, capable of producing effective management reports and toolkits.
