Security Policy And Protocol Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored to the needs of multiple data centre buildings.
- Ensure policies comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Security Operations Management
- Oversee daily security operations across all buildings in the cluster.
- Coordinate and manage security staff, ensuring proper training and compliance with security protocols.
- Monitor and maintain access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Risk Management And Incident Response
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement incident response plans.
- Lead the response to security breaches and incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Access Control And Monitoring
- Manage access control systems to ensure authorized personnel have appropriate access to data centre areas.
- Monitor building access and egress points to prevent unauthorized entry.
Vendor And Contractor Management
- Liaise with external security vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party security providers.
Security Training And Awareness
- Develop and implement security training programs for all staff within the data centre cluster.
- Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance among employees and contractors.
Compliance And Reporting
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.
- Maintain detailed records of security incidents and actions taken.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the security budget for the data centre cluster.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective management of security resources.
Technology And Systems Management
- Stay current with emerging security technologies and trends.
- Recommend and implement new security technologies and systems to enhance the security posture of the data centre cluster.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Security, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar is preferred.
- Proven experience in security management, preferably in a data centre or similar high-security environment.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in security management software and tools.
