he COBOL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining COBOL-based applications on mainframe platforms that support card products, including credit and debit cards. The role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient processing of card transactions and lifecycle management while supporting the bank's business objectives. The developer collaborates with IT teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to implement and enhance card systems in a mission-critical environment.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· Equivalent technical certifications or diploma in mainframe technologies may be considered for candidates with relevant experience.
Certifications (Optional / Advantageous):
· IBM Certified Specialist – COBOL Programmer
· IBM Mainframe-related certifications (e.g., z/OS, CICS, DB2)
· Any recognized certification in software development, system integration, or banking IT
