Be part of our client's team as a Collections Specialist, helping patients navigate overdue balances with care and professionalism. You'll facilitate payment arrangements, manage sensitive conversations, and safeguard financial integrity while delivering a patient-first collections experience. The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3-5 years of experience in collections, credit control, or customer service within financial services or healthcare collections
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and difficult conversations professionally
  • Empathetic, patient-focused approach while remaining firm, compliant, and solutions-oriented
  • Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills to achieve fair, win-win outcomes
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and follow-through
  • Resilient under pressure with the ability to manage challenging customer interactions
  • Understanding of financial hardship processes, compliance requirements, and industry regulations
  • Proficiency in CRM or collections systems, with familiarity in payment plans, healthcare billing, or financial services considered an advantage

Your Daily Tasks

Patient Collections & Support

  • Contact patients regarding overdue or missed payments via phone, email, and SMS
  • Work with patients to resolve arrears by offering tailored repayment options within policy guidelines
  • Handle hardship enquiries with empathy and escalate to management when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities in the NetSuite CRM system

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Adhere to all relevant compliance frameworks (privacy and financial services regulation)
  • Follow internal policies and procedures for collections, hardship, and dispute resolution
