Commercial Analyst
Examines an organization's revenue, operations, and overhead costs to suggest opportunities for improvements in the company's financial standing. The primary goal of a commercial analyst is to identify the organization's spending patterns, review commercial terms within commercial arrangements/contracts, identify irregularities, provide analysis, and recommend strategies to enhance the firm's profits. Support the Commercial Manager in conducting economic analysis/project evaluation as and when required.
Commercial Analyst, where appropriate, but not limited to:
- Provide input in budgeting and forecasting for business planning.
- Analyses budget reports and suggests strategies for improving business performance.
- Perform strategic analysis and prepare financial models to support strategic planning activities.
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager in providing data-backed recommendations to the management to support effective decision-making.
- Coordinate with the finance team to streamline and channel efforts to improve the financial performance of the organization.
Education / Professional Qualification
- 5 - 7 years minimum in Oil and Gas related fields, with specific experience in Upstream Oil & Gas or PSC/RSC environment. (not more than 7 years)
- Preference for personnel with international experience.
- Critical thinking, analytical skills, and investigative skills.
- Experience in operations of oil and gas facilities
- Bachelor's Degree in any field
