About The Role

What You'll Do

As part of the Commercial Finance team, the Commercial Finance Manager (CFM) plays a strategic role in partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and informed decision-making. This role is instrumental in shaping commercial strategies through data-driven insights, supporting new product commercialization, and optimizing pricing and profitability across channels and customers. The CFM will work closely with Commercial, Channel, and Marketing teams, providing financial expertise, actionable insights, and practical solutions aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead value chain analysis and develop financial justifications for new product launches, commercial initiatives, and contract negotiations
  • Evaluate trade promotions, discounts, and rebates to ensure effectiveness and strong return on investment (ROI)
  • Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, tenders, and strategic proposals
  • Develop and track key financial benchmarks, including brand, pack, and channel profitability
  • Partner with Commercial teams to support customer negotiations with insights on pricing, rebates, and promotional performance
  • Conduct Channel and Customer P&L reviews, providing insights and recommendations to drive performance improvements
  • Manage month-end closing activities and reporting for commercial finance
  • Oversee deductions budget management (via WBS), ensuring accuracy and control
  • Support business planning cycles, including forecasting and budgeting
  • Drive automation and standardization of financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Ideally 4–6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, preferably within FMCG or a fast-paced commercial environment
  • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid financial analysis and modeling capabilities
  • Proficiency in SAP and data analytics tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience handling large datasets
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • High attention to detail with a results-driven approach
