Job Description

  • Own end-to-end commercial district performance across multiple states and districts within key market focus areas.
  • Drive Alipay+ network QR and NFC adoption in focus areas, ensuring high merchant density, strong payment penetration, and operational hygiene standards.
  • Monitor competitor activity, promotional strategies, and merchant acquisition approaches to identify shifts in the competitive landscape.
  • Analyze local consumer behavior, tourism flows, spending patterns, and category trends to develop actionable district-level insights.
  • Translate insights into structured reports identifying growth hotspots, with recommendations to improve product positioning, campaign effectiveness, and merchant engagement.
  • Lead, coach, and optimize district field teams to achieve targets with high accountability and execution discipline.
  • Oversee end-to-end POSM planning, inventory management, and field deployment execution to ensure operational readiness and strong brand presence.
  • Drive partnerships with local government agencies, malls, and merchants to secure campaign participation, premium visibility, and execute high-impact district activations and seasonal promotions.

Job requirement

  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in payments, merchant acquiring, sales management, or FMCG distribution in field-based roles across multiple territories.
  • Experience in people management, leading field teams (including remote/hybrid teams across multiple districts).
  • Strong strategic thinking with a global perspective, coupled with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly resilient and execution-driven, with a proven ability to operate effectively in volatile, fast-paced environments while maintaining clarity, composure, and consistent performance under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Outer Region, including East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak).
