Role Description This is a full-time Commission Sales Associate role based in Bayan Lepas with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site client engagement with some work-from-home flexibility. The Commission Sales Associate will promote and sell family takaful solutions, including protection, savings, and medical plans, to individuals, families, and businesses. Daily activities include prospecting new clients, scheduling and conducting consultations, assessing customer needs, and recommending suitable takaful products aligned with Islamic values and regulatory requirements. The role involves building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, providing after-sales service, handling policy inquiries, and supporting claims-related questions. The associate will also participate in training sessions, sales meetings, and marketing activities to achieve sales targets, comply with internal policies, and contribute to the company's vision of being the first-choice takaful provider.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills, with a proven ability or strong interest in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse customers in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner.
  • Basic financial literacy and interest in insurance/takaful, wealth protection, and long-term savings solutions; familiarity with Islamic finance or shariah-compliant products is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and disciplined, with the ability to manage time, organize sales activities, and work independently in a hybrid environment.
  • Comfort using digital tools and platforms for prospecting, virtual meetings, customer follow-up, and reporting.
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in sales, banking, insurance/takaful, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory;
