Role Description This is a part-time Commission Sales Associate role based in Shah Alam with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Commission Sales Associate will promote PruBSN's family takaful products, engage potential and existing customers, and support them in understanding protection and savings solutions that meet their needs. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting sales presentations, explaining product features, and assisting customers through the application and onboarding process. The role involves maintaining accurate customer records, achieving defined sales targets, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards. The associate will collaborate with the broader sales team, participate in training and development sessions, and represent PruBSN's values in all customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust, explain takaful concepts clearly, and engage with diverse customers.
  • Candidates should possess sales, negotiation, and customer service skills to identify needs, present suitable solutions, and manage the full sales cycle effectively.
  • Candidates should possess basic financial literacy and product understanding skills to interpret takaful plans, contributions, and benefits accurately.
  • Candidates should possess planning, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple prospects, follow up consistently, and meet sales targets.
  • Candidates should possess self-motivation and resilience, with the ability to work independently in a commission-based, performance-driven environment.
  • Relevant experience in insurance, takaful, banking, or financial services sales is an advantage.
  • Minimum education at diploma level or equivalent is preferred, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Comfort with digital tools and online communication platforms to support hybrid work and virtual customer engagement is desirable.
