Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commissioning Assistant Manager based in a Data Centre located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The individual will oversee commissioning activities, from installation to final client handover. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, and ensuring systems meet performance, safety, and industry compliance standards. The role also involves monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and reporting on milestones to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its related fields.
- 3-7 years experience in commissioning systems, preferably in ACMV Systems, data centre or semiconductor environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Educational background in engineering, project management, or related fields is an advantage
- Relevant certifications or training in commissioning is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Management & Execution
- Manage commissioning process for designated systems
- Implement commissioning procedures, and strategies to achieve project goals and client expectations.
- Conduct system testing and verification to ensure compliance with design and functional requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of commissioning activities.
Technical & Engineering Support
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and engineering documents for installation and system readiness.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and system discrepancies during the commissioning phase.
- Ensure all commissioning tasks comply with safety standards, and industry best practices.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Participate in coordination meetings, reporting commissioning progress and risks if any.
- Assist in preparing final commissioning reports and project closeout packages.
