Role Description
The Commissioning Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer will support and manage commissioning activities for data center and semiconductor facility projects. This role ensures that all systems, equipment, and processes meet design specifications, operational requirements, and industry standards. Working closely with project teams, engineers, vendors, and clients, the Commissioning Assistant Manager/Senior Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring successful project delivery from installation through final handover.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Management & Execution
- Manage, coordinate, and maintain the end-to-end commissioning process for designated systems in data center and semiconductor projects.
- Implement commissioning plans, procedures, and strategies to achieve project goals and client expectations.
- Conduct system testing, verification, and performance validation to ensure compliance with design and functional requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of commissioning activities, including test records, reports, checklists, and issue logs.
Technical & Engineering Support
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and engineering documents to confirm correct installation and system readiness.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, discrepancies, and system deficiencies during the commissioning phase.
- Support system integration activities and provide technical guidance to contractors, vendors, and site personnel.
- Ensure all commissioning tasks comply with safety standards, quality control procedures, and industry best practices.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define commissioning scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Participate in coordination meetings, reporting commissioning progress, risks, and critical issues.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
