Responsible for development, execution, and pricing of procurement risk strategies for Flex.
What a typical day looks like:
- Execute commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities.
- Support localization initiatives while enabling global sourcing expansion to enhance supply resilience and competitiveness.
- Mitigate risks related to commodity price fluctuation through market analysis, forecasting, and sourcing strategies.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop existing and new suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead procurement contract negotiations, including Commercial Agreements and NDA
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through comprehensive cost analysis, market data evaluation, internal price benchmarking, and effective negotiation.
- Identify supplier-related risks, opportunities, and underperformance, and develop corrective or improvement action plans.
- Strengthen supplier management and sourcing strategies to improve performance, quality, cost, and delivery.
- Support successful sourcing execution for new potential business opportunities and NPI activities.

What a typical day looks like:
- Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
- Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use preferred suppliers.

- Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.
- Must have an understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies.
- A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.
