Major Responsibilities

- Manage global supply base for fasteners and forming parts to ensure the most competitive cost and qualified quality materials and are procured to meet customer requirement.
- Develop and implement Part Family Strategy with matched team;
- Develop and implement Part Family Strategies in region for responsible part families
- Analyze and negotiation suppliers quotation which will support program purchasing in establishing target costs for programs as well as the cost engineering changes on programes
- Maintain and evolve benchmark pricing per product on global base. Monitor and report regional commodity, raw material, and market trend to enable global PFS and budget planning.
- Develop and execute plans to manage the supply base including but not limited to: Developing and driving performance targets in terms of cost and quality; supplier consolidation; resourcing; rating and ranking of suppliers with clear actions determined by supplier performance
- Establish Strategic Action Plans per PFS to accomplish annual goals and objectives.
- Develop requirements for and negotiate and writing of contracts and long-term agreements with supplier principals and attorneys. Negotiate long term agreements to achieve long term objectives. Ensure communications with supply base, engineering, and customer to accomplish material cost reduction goals
- Work as supplier championship for assigned suppliers to maintain supplier relationship and meet business plan target and working with Program purchasing
- Responsible for sourcing activities leading by PFS
- Responsible for Master data base
- Work closely with Supplier Development to discover, assess and develop capable competitive suppliers with the scope
- Develop clear plans to support Global purchasing manpower needs.
- Develop and implement plans to meet product line budgetary, cost savings, requirements.

Education & Work Experience

Education:
- Bachelor's degree (business, materials or mechanical engineering) required.
- Advanced degree and or professional certifications preferred.
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing.
Language: Strong English and Clear speaking are mandatory
Experience:
- Previous Purchasing experience required.
- Prefer prior automotive experience, but not required.
