Role and Responsibility of Commodity Management

Responsibility for monitoring the cost of materials for electronic Commodity and report market updates and provide recommendation to the management regularly

Developing and implementing strategies to ensure cost competitiveness and profitability

Negotiating with suppliers for cost, commercial terms and contract

Reviewing and approving the prices of materials for new business opportunities

Support of sourcing of materials and expediting delivery to resolve any shortage issue

Quarterly Business Review with strategic suppliers

Review and define new processes development for business support

Frequent interaction and negotiations with representatives of other multinational companies in the industry

Collaboration with all departments to ensure maximum efficiency

Adopt a behavior in accordance with our corporate values, Code of Conduct and Internal Regulations

Skill and experience

Familiar with the chemicals industry and the natures of products that include but not limit to electronic material, ICs etc..

Solid experience in dealing with electronic companies and their distributors globally

Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and ERP systems

Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills

Strong knowledge of negotiation practices / methodology for commodities

Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines

Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion

Advanced knowledge of English
