About us

IS Ikhlas Suci delivers chiller plant optimisation and facilities management services to commercial buildings across Malaysia. We help hotels, hospitals, malls and office towers cut their cooling energy costs — the single largest line item in most building operating budgets. It's technical work with a real sustainability outcome, and we're looking for someone who can tell that story well.

What you'll do

• Plan and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
• Turn technical work — site installations, energy savings results, engineer profiles — into content people actually want to read
• Shoot and edit short-form video and photos at client sites and events
• Support exhibition and expo presence (booth content, pre-event promotion, post-event follow-up)
• Draft copy for email campaigns and the company website
• Track engagement and report on what's working

We want you using AI

We actively encourage our interns to use AI tools — Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, whatever gets the job done — and we'll support you in learning them properly. We're an AI-driven company: it's central to how we optimise chiller plants for clients, and we expect the same mindset internally.

What that means for you: we're not interested in someone doing a task the slow way because that's how it's always been done. Come in with ideas about how AI could make our content sharper, our workflow faster, or let us do something we couldn't do before. You'll have room to test them.

The one condition: you own the output. AI drafts it, you check it, you're accountable for what goes out.

What we're looking for

• Currently studying or recently completed a diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Comm, Media or similar
• Comfortable writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Working knowledge of Canva, CapCut or equivalent — a portfolio matters more than the tool list
• Curious about how buildings and energy systems work, or willing to become curious. You don't need an engineering background, but you do need to be willing to learn what a chiller is and why anyone should care
• Self-directed. Remote means we're trusting you to manage your own time

Nice to have

• Experience running a brand account (including your own, if it has an audience)
• Basic video editing or motion graphics
• Photography
• You've built something with AI tools — a workflow, an automation, anything. Show us

How we work

This is a remote role — you can work from anywhere in Malaysia. That said, we'd encourage you to join us on-site where you can. Client visits, plant rooms, and expos are where the best content comes from, and it's a lot easier to understand what we do when you've stood in a chiller room. We'll cover travel for any site visits or events.

Where this can lead

This isn't a placeholder internship. We're a growing team, and strong interns have a genuine path to a full-time offer with us once the internship ends. If you're good and you want to stay, we want to keep you.
