Position Title: Community Development Executive (Junior, Executive or Senior Executive)

Department: Programme & Community Development

Reports To: Community Development Manager

Location: Klang Valley

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable based on performance and availability)

Expected Start Date: As Soon As Possible (Negotiable)

The Community Development Executive (CDE) will assist the Community Development Manager in implementing community development programs in Klang Valley. The role involves field engagement, coordination of training and livelihood projects, and administrative support to ensure smooth project execution and meaningful community impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Coordination & Implementation

●      Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of community development programs and entrepreneurship programs.

●      Support the organization of training sessions, coaching sessions, and community outreach activities.

●      Prepare project-related documentation, beneficiary records and administrative reports.

2. Community Engagement

●      Liaise with local partners, trainers and facilitators to identify and engage project beneficiaries.

●      Build and maintain good relationships with community leaders and participants.

●      Communicate effectively with beneficiaries to track progress and gather feedback.

3. Monitoring & Reporting

●      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of beneficiaries and project activities.

●      Support data collection, field monitoring, and reporting processes.

●      Provide regular updates to the Community Development Manager.

4. Team & Operational Support

●      Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

●      Support field visits, logistical arrangements, and on-site coordination during activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

●      Malaysian citizen, aged 21 years and above.

●      Minimum  qualification:  Bachelor's  Degree   in   Social  Sciences, Community Development, or related field is an advantage.

●      Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).

●      Must possess own transport and a valid driving license.

●      Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

●      Able to work independently and within a team environment.

●      Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.). Preferred:

●      Experience working or volunteering with NGOs, social enterprises, or community-based organizations.

-For Executive Level, a minimum of 1 year of experience is required, while for Senior Executive Level, a minimum of 2 years of experiences are required.

●      Familiarity with local communities and grassroots initiatives in Klang Valley.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS

●      Contract Type: Fixed-term, 1 year (renewable)

●      Probation Period: 3 months

●      Salary Range:

-Junior Community Development Executive Level: RM2,000 - RM3,000.00

-Community Development Executive Level: RM3,500 - RM4,500.00

-Senior Community Development Executive Level: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00
