Community Navigator (Selangor) | Cancer Research Malaysia

Cancer Research Malaysia is seeking a Community Navigator to support women with breast cancer by improving access to timely diagnosis, treatment, and community-based care across Selangor (Sg. Buloh, Selayang, Kajang, Ampang).

This role provides patient navigation, education, and coordination, working closely with hospitals, healthcare teams, and community partners to address barriers to care. Responsibilities include supporting appointments, tracking patient progress, coordinating resources and entitlements, conducting home visits, and maintaining accurate documentation while upholding patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience in community work, social services, healthcare support, or customer service
• Valid driving licence and own transport
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin, Tamil, or local languages is an advantage)
• Familiarity with local communities, resources, and cultural sensitivity
