Job Description

Step Into a Strategic In-House Role – Company Secretary, Assistant Manager

From Submarine Cable Installation, Marine Maintenance, and Geospatial Survey to Cable Landing Stations, Network Backhaul, and Data Centre Connectivity, we are at the forefront of connecting the world. Our capabilities encompass submarine cable installation and repair for deep and shallow water fibre-optic cable systems, shore-end installation, engineering, marine and geospatial surveys, as well as the operation of critical telecommunications infrastructure.

This is an in-house role offering exposure to Board-level matters, where you will play a key role in managing end-to-end secretarial practices across multiple entities.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing and reviewing Board and shareholder documentation, and coordinating meetings at the highest level of the organisation. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent minute-writing skills, and the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide in-house corporate secretarial support across the Group, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, internal policies, and relevant laws
  • Prepare and review board papers, resolutions, minutes, and correspondence
  • Organise and coordinate Board, Shareholders, and Management meetings, including pre- and post-meeting processes
  • Draft agendas, issue notices, and ensure timely circulation of meeting materials
  • Attend meetings and accurately record minutes
  • Support corporate exercises and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with shareholders, auditors, regulators, and external advisers
  • Provide guidance on corporate secretarial matters to internal stakeholders, including regional teams
  • Support document management and custodial functions within the secretarial department

What you should have:

  • Degree /Diploma in business administration or any related fields with MAICSA/ICSA qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in an in-house secretarial capacity.
  • Well-versed in the Companies Act 2016 and other regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills in managing documentation and work processes
  • Keen to explore secretarial knowledge and gain experience in a regional capacity
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written English communication skills
