About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Executive to join our Human Resources team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, administration of employee benefits, and support of compensation programs while maintaining compliance with statutory and company requirements. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and passionate about delivering excellent employee service through efficient payroll and rewards administration.
Payroll Administration
Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing for employees.
Validate payroll inputs, employee records, attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and salary adjustments.
Manage payroll-related documentation and maintain payroll records with a high level of confidentiality.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other relevant regulations.
Liaise with payroll vendors, finance teams, and government agencies on payroll-related matters.
Support payroll audits and implement payroll controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Compensation & Benefits
Support the administration and maintenance of compensation and benefits programs.
Participate in salary benchmarking exercises and market surveys.
Assist in annual salary review and bonus administration processes.
Manage employee benefits programs, including insurance, medical benefits, and other employee welfare initiatives.
Monitor benefits utilization and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
HR Analytics & Administration
Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and compensation-related analysis.
Maintain accurate employee data and compensation records in HR systems.
Support HR budgeting exercises and people cost analysis.
Assist in the development, review, and implementation of compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
Employee Support
Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits matters.
Provide guidance and clarification on payroll calculations, statutory deductions, and company benefits.
Deliver a high level of service while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
What We're Looking For
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll, compensation & benefits, or HR operations.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll processes and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/payroll systems.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
Exposure to salary benchmarking, compensation reviews, and HR reporting.
