Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Compensation & Benefits Manager / Specialist to support the design, implementation, and administration of reward programs that attract, motivate, and retain talent in a fast-paced technology environment. This role will play a key part in developing and maintaining competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, performance management processes, and HR initiatives that support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, review, and implementation of compensation and rewards programs, including salary structures, job grading frameworks, salary bands, and incentive schemes.
  • Manage and administer the annual performance review cycle and KPI-setting process, ensuring alignment between individual performance and reward outcomes.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on performance management, KPI development, and compensation-related matters.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation positioning within the technology industry.
  • Analyze compensation data and provide recommendations on salary adjustments, promotions, and annual compensation reviews.
  • Oversee or support monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Review and administer employee benefits programs, including insurance, wellness initiatives, employee engagement activities, company events, and corporate social responsibility programs.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate policies, guidelines, and procedures related to compensation, benefits, and employee welfare.
  • Support HRIS initiatives, including system implementation, migration, process improvements, and data integrity management.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely execution and effective stakeholder communication.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and insights related to compensation, benefits, payroll, and workforce analytics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • For Specialist level: Minimum 4-6 years of relevant Compensation & Benefits experience.
  • For Manager level: Minimum 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years focused on Compensation & Benefits and/or people management responsibilities.
  • Experience in the technology industry or a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, job evaluation, and benefits administration.
  • Experience in designing or enhancing compensation frameworks and reward structures will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes, HRIS platforms, and HR analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of compensation best practices, market trends, and employment regulations.
  • Experience managing annual compensation review and performance management cycles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and HR reporting tools.
  • Strong project management and process improvement capabilities.
