Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing compensation and benefits operations, including expatriate management such as payroll, taxation, and mobility coordination.
- Familiar with end to end payroll processes including overtime, allowances, deductions, and final pay.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian regulation, tax law, statutory requirements and processes.
- Accountable to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and delivery as per Payroll schedule; calendar of activities and overall data integrity of HR master data in the Payroll system.
- Partner with Internal Super User to perform the monthly reconciliation data audit between the Payroll system.
- Maintain accurate and updated record management for employee master data.
- Liaising with local government statutory bodies such as LHDN, EPF, SOCSO.
- Liaising with external vendors such as insurance providers, medical panels, wellness perks etc.
- To collate and compile reports for department and management.
- Able to supervise work of subordinates and guide them, resolve issues, and serve as a link between subordinates and upper management.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as per required by the manager.
Working location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur
Working days and hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
Job Requirements:
- 58 years of working experience in Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, or Accounting background from any industry.
- Work experience in the logistics or transportation industry will have an added advantage.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or other related fields.
- Proficient in Mandarin, English and Malay.
- Possession of SHRMCP, CIPD, or AHRI certification is preferred.
- Strong data and analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as pivot tables and formulas.
