Job Description

Provides strategic leadership and direction on the design and execution of compliance activities related to Boardrooms unlisted funds space.

Administer and deliver the International Tax Transparency Frameworks Project Plan, including the review and lodgment of FATCA/ CRS Reports.

Acting as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor on all things Financial Crime to the broader BoardRoom Operations team by contributing to the training and development of analysts and processing staff.

Operational Management

FATCA/ CRS

Complete defined reviews of client files for relevant tax information against a predefined checklist and procedure.

Plan the migration of the existing FATCA and CRS infrastructure to an automated due diligence and reporting solution.

Check for correctness, including validation of client and completeness of documents received against existing records.

Record, process, scan and prepare for filing of documents in accordance with company procedures.

Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.

AML/ CTF

Provide monitoring and advisory services in relation to AML/CTF to ensure alignment and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and rules.

Undertake compliance monitoring and reporting in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring Standard, primarily related to AML/CTF but may include other requirements.

Assist business units to understand their compliance obligations and controls and ensuring the compliance testing program is operating effectively.

Provide timely and accurate compliance interpretative advice in relation AML/CTF requirements, as they relate to the administration of superannuation and pension schemes.

General

Review, analyze, and assess compliance exceptions with a view to identifying process improvement opportunities.

Compile, assess, analyze and prepare reporting on to management, business risk committee(s) and Boards, as required.

Drive the identification and development of corrective action plans to resolve problematic compliance issues. Develop strategies and practices to reduce potential for violations and noncompliance.

Willing to work under Australia working hours and follow Australia public holidays.
