Fintonia Group is building a tech-enabled digital assets financial services platform, with offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, combining a strong background in traditional finance with disruptive technology.

The Role:
This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to manage documentation without repeated prompting. The individual must be comfortable handling regulated financial services documentation and ensuring that all client and investor records are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
KYC, AML & Compliance Support
- Support the client, investor and counterparty onboarding process, including KYC/KYB document collection, AML checks, verification, and compliance review coordination.
- Conduct onboarding checks to ensure required documents and information are complete, accurate, and properly organised before submission or review.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining KYC/KYB files for clients, investors, counterparties, and business partners.
- Track outstanding KYC, AML, and onboarding items, follow up with relevant parties, and escalate delays or incomplete submissions where required.
- Ensure onboarding documentation is properly filed, version-controlled, and audit-ready.
- Support periodic reviews, information refresh exercises, remediation work, and other compliance-related documentation updates.
- Assist the compliance team with maintaining onboarding checklists, trackers, and records.
Contract Documentation & Administrative Support
- Review and coordinate investor and counterparty agreements to ensure required fields are accurately completed, information is consistent and any discrepancies or missing items are flagged for resolution prior to signing.
- Check and coordinate onboarding documents to ensure all required information is complete, accurate and consistent before submission.
- Support account-opening processes, including coordinating required forms, supporting documents, and follow-ups.
- Ensure all investor and counterparty documentation is properly completed, signed, filed, and retrievable when required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to confirm documentation requirements and ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain accurate trackers for investor and counterparty documentation, signing status, onboarding progress, and pending action items.
Supporting Client Servicing & Operations
- Support client servicing and operations workflows relating to onboarding, documentation, and post-onboarding administration.
- Coordinate with internal teams including compliance, operations, finance, and business development to move onboarding and operational matters forward.
- Respond professionally to internal and external documentation requests.
- Support meeting preparation, follow-up notes, client records, and administrative coordination where required.
- Ensure operational follow-ups are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Identify gaps in documentation workflows and suggest improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in KYC, AML, compliance support, onboarding, client servicing, operations, or documentation roles.
- Prior experience in financial services is required, preferably from banking, securities, brokerage, private equity, insurance, fund management, asset management, fintech, or a related regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with KYC/KYB onboarding, AML checks, client documentation, investor onboarding, or account-opening processes.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to prepare, check, track, and maintain complete and accurate records.
- Comfortable handling agreements, subscription forms, onboarding forms, account-opening documents, and compliance checklists.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Mandarin proficiency is a must, especially the ability to review and translate Chinese-language KYC documents and communicate with Mandarin speaking investors and counterparties.
- Legal training or prior exposure to legal documentation would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or documentation errors.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business or related field. Professional certification in AML/ compliance (e.g. CAMS, ICA) is an advantage.
