What you'll do
- Facilitate the development of compliance initiatives and projects, such as Transaction Monitoring and Chainalysis Scenario and Threshold review and tuning
- Conduct on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring and investigations on suspicious activities by using transaction monitoring and market surveillance tools (e.g. Chainalysis and Elliptic)
- Follow through on end-to-end process including preparation on investigation report, client retention recommendation, and other risk mitigation measures
- Support the Compliance Manager with recommendations for process improvement, risk mitigation as well as trends identified in investigations, those that have facilitated financial crime.
- Handle enquiries related to AML/CFT and ad hoc tasks assigned by the Compliance Manager
What you'll need
- At least 2 to 5 years experience working in AML/CFT, sanction and other compliance functions. Previous exposure to digital / virtual assets would be a plus
- Relevant university degree holder or equivalent in Business Administration / Accounting / Finance / Risk Management is preferred
- ACAMS certification is an advantage
- Project management experience is an advantage
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill - fluent inEnglish and Mandarin
- Must be able to doNIGHT SHIFT
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Team player, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
