Role Overview:

As a Social Media Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our organization remains compliant with the constantly evolving policies and regulations of major social media platforms. Your contributions will directly influence our digital marketing operations, mitigate compliance risks, and support our cross-functional teams in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of online platformsmaking you an integral part of our success in maintaining a trustworthy and forward-thinking digital presence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor and track changes in policies and regulations related to major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Google, X (Twitter), YouTube, etc.).
  • Analyze the impact of policy changes and how they affect the business operations of the organization.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, legal, and other departments to ensure social media strategies align with platform-specific guidelines and regulations.
  • Develop and implement best practices to ensure compliance with platform policies while using social media.
  • Identify and manage risks arising from non-compliance with social media platform policies.
  • Prepare and present compliance status reports on social media usage to senior management.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Law, Communications, Business Administration, or related disciplines).
  • 2-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or policy management, especially within the context of social media.
  • Deep understanding of the policies and regulations of major social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, X (Twitter), YouTube, etc.
  • Ability to quickly and accurately track, analyze, and interpret changes in platform policies.
  • Strong communication skills in both English.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and manage compliance-related projects.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations related to social media usage, digital marketing, and online business operations is a plus.
  • Ability to manage pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Knowledge of digital laws (e.g., data privacy, intellectual property, etc.) and online compliance.
  • Familiarity with compliance tools and software.
  • Experience in training and advising teams on social media policies and compliance standards.
