Design for Components (DFC).
Source, establish and maintain a database of alternate technical/PCB manufacturers/suppliers
Drive corrective actions, FA (Failure Analysis), root cause analysis, liaise with other BEI sites for resolutions
Perform any statutory regulatory environmental/HAZMAT BOM scrubs (ROHS, WEEE,REACH, China RoHS, Pb free process data) or its related
Supplier Audit focus on manufacturing and technical evaluations of suppliers, onsite resolutions of technical/supply issues
Commodity ID maintenance and allocation
Initiate projects to mitigate supply chain
Lead value engineering.
Any other task as assigned
Requirements
:Engineering Degree in electronics or related discipline with equivalent experience
.Minimum 4 years of component engineering and sources, or related field
.Basic knowledge in analog/digital electronics, semiconductor physic
sLab/instrumentation failure analysis of electrical/electronic components, ATE testing and relate
dElectrical and electronic design and application engineering experienc
eKnowledge in electronics/PCB manufacturing process is an added advantag
eTrained in quality management, certified auditor, trained in TQM, SPC or ISO stds (ISO 9000s..) an added advantage
