We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Compliance Engineer to support material compliance activities across our customer programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that compliance requirements are delivered in line with agreed scope, quality, and timelines.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and business units to drive high standards material compliance program for customer products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
- Provide material compliance consultation and reporting support to internal business units and customers
- Plan and execute material compliance activities for assigned customers, ensuring delivery against defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations
- Manage end-to-end supplier engagement, including:
- Sending material composition data requests
- Monitoring submission progress and maintaining structured tracking
- Driving timely follow-up and escalation where required
- Deliver training and guidance to suppliers on material composition requirements to enable accurate and efficient data collection
- Perform BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis, including validation against internal databases and identification of data gaps
- Review and validate supplier submissions (e.g., material declarations, supporting documents, and files), including running compliance checks within internal systems
- Compile and consolidate supplier data into material compliance reports for customers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer specifications
- Support submission of compliance reports onto customer-designated platforms or reporting systems, where required
- Maintain structured and accurate records by uploading and managing compliance data in relevant systems and databases
- Compile and generate material composition reports (standard and customized) to meet customer requirements
- Stay up to date with environmental regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, POP, CA Prop 65, PFAS) and assess their impact on programs
- Proactively monitor progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of assigned activities
- Maintain and regularly update master data tables and compliance records, ensuring data accuracy and traceability
- Identify and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, data quality, and ways of working
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance deliverables meet program requirements and deadlines
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Materials, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in material compliance or regulatory compliance, preferably in electronics or manufacturing environments
- (Fresh graduates with strong learning agility and relevant exposure are also welcome to apply)
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations such as RoHS, REACH, SVHC, and related requirements
- Familiarity with BOMcheck system and compliance reporting is an added advantage
- Experience engaging with suppliers and managing compliance data collection and validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
