Job Description
Conference Delegate Sales
- Promote conferences, seminars, forums, and executive events to corporate clients and professionals.
- Identify and approach potential delegates through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed registrations.
- Meet or exceed delegate registration and revenue targets.
Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales
- Identify prospective sponsors and exhibitors aligned with conference themes.
- Present sponsorship and exhibition packages to potential partners.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements within approved pricing guidelines.
- Build long-term relationships with sponsors and exhibitors to encourage repeat participation.
Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and target industries.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Generate repeat business through excellent account management.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for delegates, sponsors, and corporate clients throughout the sales process.
- Respond promptly to enquiries and provide accurate information about conference offerings.
- Maintain regular communication with existing clients to promote upcoming events.
Sales Administration
- Prepare quotations, proposals, sponsorship packages, and registration documents.
- Maintain accurate sales records and customer information in the system.
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and conversion rates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends and competitor events.
- Identify new market segments and potential clients.
- Gather customer feedback to improve conference offerings and sales strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or any related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, conference sales, training sales, event sales, or corporate business development.
- Experience selling professional training, conferences, sponsorships, or corporate services is preferred.
