Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Foreman based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Construction Foreman will oversee and coordinate construction projects along with our Project Manager, ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities include site measurements, assisting our Project Manager, supervising our installation and operation team, managing daily site operations, ensuring proper use of equipment, inspecting materials and work quality, and ensuring compliance with safety and design specifications. Reporting project progress and addressing potential challenges will also be key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site activities and installation works
• Lead and manage installation teams (stone, carpentry, subcontractors)
• Take precise site measurements and ensure accuracy before fabrication/installation
• Ensure all works meet design intent, technical drawings, and quality standards
• Monitor workmanship and resolve on-site issues proactively
• Coordinate material deliveries, tools, and site readiness
• Enforce site safety practices and proper use of equipment
• Work closely with the Project Manager on scheduling, progress updates, and problem-solving
• Conduct site inspections and ensure final finishes meet high-quality expectations 

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar role in construction/interior works
• Strong understanding of finishing works (stone, carpentry, joinery preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction details
• High attention to detail, especially in final finishes and alignment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia & English & Cantonese preferred)
• Practical problem-solving ability on-site
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and practices
• Experience in stone work or high-end residential projects is a strong advantage
