Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads project planning and scheduling to ensure construction works are completed on time and in line with contractual milestones and project objectives.

  • Prepare tender submissions, including planning deliverables, method statements, construction work sequences, and site work planning, across multiple tenders concurrently.

  • Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, identifying risks or delays, and provide planning support to project management using tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

  • Develop and maintain the master project schedule, including the Work Breakdown Structure and critical path activities.

  • Monitor project progress, update schedules, and perform variance analysis to identify delays and recommend recovery plans.

  • Coordinate planning between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Plan and develop construction resources such as manpower and equipment to optimise productivity.

  • Prepare tender briefings, construction methodology studies, and provide schedule updates to management and clients.

  • Lead and guide Planning Engineers while ensuring planning standards and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field recognized by the PE Board

  • Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in project planning and management for large-scale building projects, including construction planning and scheduling

  • Strong proficiency in Programming Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and familiar with Corenet X Submission Gateways requirement.

  • Strong understanding of construction productivity, sequencing, site execution methodologies, and project controls

  • Experience in delay analysis and programme risk management.

  • Familiar with Singapore authority requirements and project environment

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

  • Able to work under tight timelines and manage multiple project tenders.

  • Familiar with and experienced in work productivity.
