We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our Digital, Technology and Information (DTI) Department.

About the Role

The Consultant - IT Governance and Service Management (GSM) provides expert consulting to strengthen Velesto's IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) posture and optimize IT service management practices. This role ensures alignment with related ISO standard and ITIL frameworks, enabling robust governance, transparent service delivery, and continuous improvement across IT operations.

Responsibilities

IT Governance & Compliance:

  • Establish and refine IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO/IEC 38500) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g.,PDPA, Cybersecurity Act).
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures; embed governance in budgeting, procurement, and project lifecycle.
  • Conduct IT risk assessments, maintain risk register, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate internal/external audits and ensure readiness for compliance certifications.

Service Management:

  • Design and optimize IT Service Management processes aligned with ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management).
  • Define SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs; monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support vendor and contract governance, including due diligence and anti-bribery controls.
  • Facilitate CAB (Change Advisory Board) processes and ensure robust change control.

Strategic Planning & Documentation:

  • Assist in IT strategic planning and roadmap development for service delivery and governance.
  • Prepare governance dashboards, compliance reports, and executive presentations for BGRC and leadership.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for policies, processes, and governance artifacts.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders; ensure clear communication of governance and service objectives.
  • Conduct awareness sessions on IT governance and service management best practices.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred
  • Certifications: ISO/ITIL/COBIT

Required Skills

  • Skills in stakeholder management, governance frameworks, service management, and compliance and audit.
  • ITIL framework, incident/problem/change management

Experience

  • 810 years in IT governance, service management, and risk/compliance; proven track record in implementing ITIL processes and governance frameworks.
  • Well-versed in industry knowledge and business processes.
