We are looking for a
Consumer Apps Division Lead not just to manage apps but also built the digital home for the pickleball community. It is a role who will own the strategy for
PlayPickleball.com,
PlayMore, and
SelkirkTV, transforming them from standalone platforms into an integrated, AI-enhanced ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Vision & Strategy
- Define and execute the long-term digital ecosystem roadmap
- Integrate PlayPickleball.com (community & education), PlayMore (player engagement & tools), and SelkirkTV (content & streaming) into one cohesive experience
- Establish a unified data, identity, and personalization strategy
- Create a scalable architecture that supports growth across media, commerce, and community
AI-Enhanced Personalization
- Implement AI-driven content recommendations across video, articles, and training
- Develop personalization engines for product discovery and player improvement
- Introduce AI-powered coaching, matchmaking, and community features
- Leverage first-party data to enhance retention and engagement
Product & Platform Leadership
- Oversee UX/UI evolution across web, mobile, and CTV
- Lead product lifecycle from concept through launch and optimization
- Prioritize feature development based on business impact and community needs
- Manage internal and external development teams
Growth & Monetization
- Drive user acquisition, retention, and lifetime value
- Integrate commerce natively into content and community touchpoints
- Develop new revenue models across subscriptions, ads, sponsorships, and premium features
- Define and monitor KPIs across engagement, conversion, and revenue
Cross-Functional Integration
- Align marketing, content, eCommerce, and media teams under a shared digital strategy
- Ensure seamless data flow between platforms and CRM systems
- Collaborate with leadership on long-term digital transformation
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Product Management, ideally within consumer tech or sports platforms.
- AI Enthusiast: Not just following AI trends but have to understand how to implement LLMs or Computer Vision to create tangible value for users.
- Proven track record of scaling mobile or web applications.
