SimplyGood is a Singapore-born eco home care brand on a mission to take single-use plastic out of cleaning. Our waterless, plastic-free system (laundry detergent sheets and dissolvable cleaning tablets) is far lighter and smaller than traditional liquid products, which cuts plastic, storage and shipping waste. We are not a detergent company that posts content. We are a media company that happens to sell detergent.

This is one person owning our entire organic social presence across three platforms. You are a strategist, storyteller, creator and producer rolled into one. You research, write, shoot, edit, post and grow our social media community. It is a builder role, not a posting role, and every piece of content is pointed at brand recognition, engagement and conversions, not vanity reach.

Job Description

Platforms (in priority order):

  1. TikTok (primary) — daily short-form, trend-native, our main organic growth engine.
  2. Instagram — Reels, Stories, feed. Demo, social proof, lifestyle.
  3. Facebook — our 35 to 54 and 50 to 65 buyers live here. Reels plus community.

Content production and storytelling (your core, around 70% of the role):

  • Generate, edit and publish content daily. At least 3 published posts per day 
  • Plan and produce video and Reels for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook content. Formats span Reels, Short video, GIFs, Images and Carousels.
  • Shoot and edit your own videos. You are comfortable on camera as on-screen talent and you can also direct others.
  • Create fun and engaging viral content across various social media channels 
  • Competitor research & content strategy: platform trends, competitor content, what is working in the category. Move fast on a hot format and ship a SimplyGood version the same day.

Influencer and creator collaboration:

  • Reach out to, liaise with and coordinate external creators and talent to film our scripts. Own the shoot from brief to final cut.
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant content creators, KOLs and brand advocates for content creation and collaboration.
  • Translate briefs into compelling content with them.

Social media management and community:

  • Manage all social media platforms of the brand (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Own the end to end of all social media accounts: schedule and arrange posts, keep the calendar running, maintain a consistent posting cadence.
  • You are the brand's voice. Reply to comments and DMs quickly, nurture the community, keep tone consistent with our brand and messaging.
  • Source, edit and repost UGC. Surface customer stories and testimonials as content.
  • Watch brand mentions and conversations. Surface issues early with a proposed fix.

Metrics, analytics and reporting:

  • Own and grow our organic metrics: engagement, likes, shares, comments, saves and follower growth.
  • Audit our social presence, track content and trend data, and report social media KPIs weekly so we know what is working and why.
  • Read performance every week. Kill what is not working, double down on what is, bring the next set of bets.
  • Feed the test bed: when an organic post wins, hand it to the Performance Content Strategist to scale as paid. When paid finds a winning hook, adapt it for organic.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years making organic social content for a brand, or as a creator with real audience growth you can point to.
  • A TikTok-first instinct. You are an expert at hooks and viral organic content, and your portfolio proves it.
  • A storyteller's instinct. You can turn an everyday product into content people want to watch and share.
  • You shoot and edit your own video, and you are comfortable on camera as on-screen talent.
  • Daily, demonstrable use of AI content tools, with a portfolio that proves the lift.
  • Comfort with social analytics. You read engagement, follower growth and trend data, and you act on it.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Based in Petaling Jaya or willing to relocate. This is an in-office role at our MY HQ.

Nice to have

  • An existing personal creator following.
  • Experience coordinating and directing external creators or UGC talent.
  • Familiarity with eco, home care, parenting or lifestyle niches.
  • Advanced video editing chops beyond AI tools.
