Role OverviewThe Contract Executive supports contract administration, claims management, and commercial coordination to ensure contractual compliance and effective risk control throughout project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesContract AdministrationAssist in drafting, reviewing, and administering construction contracts, subcontracts, and consultancy agreements Ensure contractual compliance with company policies, project requirements, and applicable laws Maintain accurate contract documentation, records, and correspondence
Claims & VariationsAssist in preparing and evaluating variation orders, Extension of Time (EOT), and claims for loss and expense Monitor contractual notices and ensure timely submissions in accordance with contract conditions Support the assessment of subcontractor and supplier claims
Cost & Commercial SupportAssist in monitoring cost implications, progress claims, and payment certifications Track contractual risks, liabilities, and potential disputes Support cost control initiatives and commercial reporting
Project CoordinationCoordinate closely with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site teams Attend project meetings and provide contractual input when required Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contract-related matters
Compliance & Risk ManagementIdentify contractual risks and escalate issues to management Monitor compliance with contractual timelines, milestones, and obligations Assist in dispute resolution processes, including mediation or adjudication support
Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field 2-3 years of relevant experience in contract administration or commercial roles within the construction or engineering industry Experience with standard forms of contract is an added advantage Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is preferred (to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts)
