How you create impact
As a Contract Logistics Shift Leader, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse. By leading your team on the floor, you directly impact productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
Your impact includes:
- Leading, planning, and organizing daily warehouse operations to meet operational and customer requirements.
- Managing shift manpower effectively, including attendance, absenteeism, sick leave, and workload allocation.
- Allocating resources on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational continuity and productivity.
- Driving performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) across productivity, quality, safety, and customer service.
- Conducting daily briefings to align the team on priorities, safety requirements, and operational updates.
- Ensuring all equipment and assets are handled and operated responsibly at all times.
- Maintaining strict compliance with Health & Safety, QSHE, and dangerous goods requirements.
- Proactively identifying and resolving operational issues to prevent service disruption.
