Business Analyst – HRIS & Finance ERP

Contract: 6 Months

Location: Malaysia

Job Summary

OCS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong exposure to HRIS and Finance ERP systems. The successful candidate will work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements, support system implementations, and drive process improvements. This is a 6-month contract role based in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

Work with HR and Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical and functional requirements.

Oversee the implementation and enhancement of HRIS and Finance ERP solutions.

Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) with clear As-Is and To-Be process flows.

Analyze system performance metrics and ensure data is stored in an accessible and structured manner.

Define and maintain role-based access and security controls.

Design, plan, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Conduct risk analysis and diagnose application-related issues.

Support change management, user training, and post-implementation improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst

Strong hands-on experience with HRIS and Finance ERP systems

Expertise in BRD, As-Is / To-Be process mapping, and UAT

Experience working with HR & Finance stakeholders

Knowledge of system security, access roles, and compliance

Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Experience in ERP implementations is mandatory

Preferred Skills

Experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, or Dynamics 365

SQL / reporting / dashboard experience

Exposure to payroll, finance modules (GL, AP, AR)

Agile or Waterfall project delivery experience
