Position: Control Tower Specialist
Job Summary
The Control Tower role is responsible for managing and monitoring end-to-end shipment visibility across the South East Asia region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries. This position ensures smooth logistics operations through proactive coordination, accurate reporting, issue resolution, and strong collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor shipment status across the South East Asia region to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Proactively resolve operational issues, including handling complaints, incidents, and accidents during transportation.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and clients, providing necessary operational support.
- Prepare and distribute regular operational reports such as Space Reports, Tracking Reports, Volume Reports, and other required reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate and coordinate closely with clients and vendors to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
- Identify and report any discrepancies in data received from vendors to clients promptly.
- Coordinate shipping arrangements with internal departments and external logistics partners.
- Conduct on-site supervision to oversee operations and ensure compliance with agreed procedures.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a warehousing or logistics environment; experience in a Control Tower role is an advantage.
- Proficient in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other logistics-related software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to speak and write in Chinese/Mandarin is required.
