Lead and mentor a team of transport planner professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and KPI achievementparticularly in a shared-services or cross-functional environment.
Monitor daily arrival and depart haulage drivers time as per schedule to ensure compliance
Provide escalation, status report, delay and proactive updates to relevant departments
Tracking of daily driver attendance against forecasted plan to ensure adequate on time arrival
Ensuring the numbers of linehaul provided by suppliers and vendors are as planned according to trips
Liaise with stakeholders and vendors on ad-hoc trip request and create additional trips if required
To facilitate the update and response if linehaul trucks delay departure from schedule, advise the new arrival time at facilities.
Daily reporting on trackers such as routes, staging, performance, backlog, truck planning, daily trip and ad hoc trips.
Requirements
Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Logistic, Supply Chain or any equivalent disciplines.
Experience in transport, supply chain and logistics management
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English
Quick learning, adaptive and flexible
Committed, result oriented, willing to go extra miles for goal achievement.
Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 working days)
