The Corporate Accountant will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations within the manufacturing sector. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance.

Description
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and review finance-related operational data to support the Business Unit's daily operations and enhance cost efficiency.
- Evaluate, improve, and execute the Business Unit's financial processes, internal controls, and related policies and procedures.
- Assess internal audit reports and findings, and drive continuous improvements and SOP enhancements within the Business Units.
- Examine and interpret budgets, cash flows, and overall financial and operational performance of the Business Units.
- Oversee group tax planning and manage all tax-related matters for the Business Units.
- Support the analysis of financial results across the investment portfolio and operating entities.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including overseas subsidiaries, as well as external professionals and authorities such as lawyers, company secretaries, auditors, tax consultants, and bankers.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by your superior as required.
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences preferably in public listed company or Big Four audit firm.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
