The intern will support the Corporate Communications & Branding department by contributing to the development and execution of communication strategies, assisting with branding initiatives, and helping maintain internal and external stakeholder engagement. Successful outcomes include seamless communication processes, effective branding campaigns, and high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of internal and external communications, including press releases, social media content, and corporate announcements via internal platforms (email/intranet).
- Support the development and execution of branding initiatives and campaigns.
- Maintain and update the company's website and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with other departments to gather content and information for communication materials.
- Assist in organizing corporate events (internal and external), media briefings, and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and manage media relations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining contact lists, and preparing reports.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of graphic design, photo, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a must.
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field is preferred but not required.
