Corporate Finance Associate

Senior Executive, Corporate Finance, KAF Investment Bank

1. Collate and analyse financial, economic and other information from annual reports/announcements and other publicly available sources.
2. Assist the team leader to prepare presentation papers and pitch books.
3. Assist to draft applications, notices, announcements, circulars, and prospectus and ensure disclosures therein are in compliance with listing and other regulatory requirements.
4. Ensure successful execution of mandates within statutory, regulatory and compliance parameters.
5. Support the team leader in the conduct of due diligence and verification of data, statements and other information to be disclosed in the relevant documents to ensure its validity, accuracy and completeness and are not misleading.
6. Maintain a close working relationship with regulators (BNM and SC).
7. Assist the team leader to originate and structure proposals to be presented for discussion with clients.
8. Guide and mentor team members in relation to the execution of mandates.
9. Assist in administrative matters such as overseeing timely billings and collection of fees.

Skills & Experience Required

Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking/Actuarial Science/Economics/Law or equivalent professional qualifications.

Minimum 3 - 5 years of corporate finance experience/ audit/ legal/ research

Experience in or involved in corporate exercises such as IPO, RTO, Mergers and Acquisition is important and will be an advantage

CMSRL holder for advising on corporate finance is an added advantage.

Well organised, meticulous, detailed oriented with strong computing skills.

Possess strong interpersonal skills, a result-oriented mindset, and a positive attitude with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.

Good command of English, both verbal and written and proficiency in other languages will be an added advantage.
