SCS Global Advisory (M) Sdn Bhd assists companies in the process of going public by guiding them through the complex and lengthy process of IPO. We work with clients to develop IPO strategies, prepare the necessary documents and filings, coordinate with advisers and professionals, and support compliance with regulatory requirements.
As part of our corporate finance advisory work, the candidate will also be exposed to capital market communication materials, investor presentations, financial performance analysis, market intelligence and listed company engagement support.
Responsibilities
· To support the Corporate Finance Manager or Assistant Manager in providing a full range of corporate finance advisory services, including IPO, M&A, due diligence, valuation, capital market communications and other related support services.
· To support the team in assisting clients in the process of IPO, including preparing the necessary documents and filings, prospectuses, management discussion and analysis (MD&A), IPO presentations, press releases and other corporate communication materials.
· To assist in preparing quarterly results presentations, investor presentation materials, shareholder analysis, market intelligence, benchmarking studies and other capital market-related materials for clients.
· To support the team in monitoring clients financial performance, industry developments, market trends, peer activities and valuation benchmarks.
· To support the team in conducting business valuation of companies using generally recognised valuation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation, relative valuation using comparable market information and any other valuation methodologies as deemed appropriate.
· To ensure corporate finance proposals and capital market communication materials comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the listing requirements issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, guidelines and rules issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia, and laws and regulations such as the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 and the Companies Act 2016.
· To coordinate and participate in discussions with clients management teams, advisers, professionals, research analysts, institutional investors, media representatives and/or any other parties involved in corporate finance and capital market-related engagements.
· To support the coordination of analyst briefings, investor meetings, annual general meetings, IPO briefings and other capital market engagement activities, where required.
· To support the team in ensuring timely execution of clients engagements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, professionalism and confidentiality.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree and/or professional qualification in accounting, finance, business administration, mathematics, statistics, economics or a related field.
· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
· Strong command of written and spoken English.
· Strong interest in corporate finance, investor communications, listed companies and the development of the capital markets, especially in Malaysia.
· Good analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Meticulous, responsible and able to work under tight timelines.
