This role supports the CFO for a leading FinTech in overall financial planning for budgeting and forecasting process & management reporting for the Group.
Role
- Responsible on management reporting, budgeting, and financial planning
- Custodian for the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis package
- Facilitate monthly/ quarterly presentations for Board meetings and performance reviews
- Lead indepth performance analysis of Company's portfolio companies, including financial analysis, operational efficiency metrics & cash flow projections
- Assist with queries from investors, external stakeholders, and Group
- Facilitate annual portfolio valuation exercise and support impairment exercise
- Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide range of data sources
- Initiate rolling forecast practice involving regular updates extending beyond the fiscal year
- Develop financial models & analyses to support strategic initiatives and investment opportunities
- Enhance performance analysis to include analysis of unit economics and sensitivity analysis
- Facilitate project/process improvement/discussion with stakeholders ensuring profitability is maximized to meet the budget
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent
- Professionally certified (CFA is a definite plus)
- At least 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills experience and comfort with financial modelling is required
- Able to read and interpret P&L, BS, CF statement and understand basic accounting principles
- Strong PowerPoint skills able to deliver complex messages in simple yet impactful slides
- Flexible at work with ownership to the results for delivering the best possible output
- Experience with Management Consulting/Corporate Strategy & Finance in lean teams or start-ups is desirable
- Comfortable in being challenged and enjoy a healthy level of conflict to find resolution
- Able to think logically and structure relatively un-structured problems
