Job Description
Financial Modelling & Valuation
- Develop, refine, and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new projects, investments, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
- Prepare valuation analyses for potential acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
Project & Investment Analysis
- Lead financial due diligence and feasibility studies for capital projects and investment opportunities.
- Assess ROI, payback periods, and long-term financial impact of proposed initiatives.
- Provide recommendations to management and the Board based on rigorous financial evaluation.
Capital Management & Funding
- Support capital raising activities including debt, equity, and alternative financing structures.
- Evaluate funding strategies to optimize capital structure and cost of capital.
- Liaise with banks, investors, and financial advisors on financing arrangements.
Strategic Planning & Advisory
- Partner with business units to provide financial insights on operational and strategic decisions.
- Deliver clear presentations and reports to senior management, Audit Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Advise on corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions, and portfolio optimization.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on investment/project performance against forecasts and KPIs.
- Highlight risks, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Corporate Finance Manager Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
