Manager Corporate Finance (Group Investment)
About the Role
An established diversified group is seeking a high-calibre Corporate Finance professional to join its Group Investment team. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic transactions, capital market exercises, and investment evaluations across multiple sectors, with strong visibility to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate investment and corporate proposals, covering financial, strategic, qualitative and quantitative aspects.
Conduct in-depth research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Prepare investment papers, board presentations, circulars, announcements and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Support transaction execution by ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, securities laws, and listing guidelines (local and overseas, where applicable).
Review and coordinate on legal documents, transaction agreements, reports, submissions to regulators, shareholders, and public investors.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, external advisers, auditors, legal counsels, and regulators.
Undertake ad-hoc corporate finance, investment, or strategic initiatives as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or equivalent; professional qualifications (ACCA / MICPA / CPA or equivalent) are highly regarded.
Minimum 3 years experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, or relevant audit exposure to corporate finance engagements.
Solid understanding of capital markets, securities regulations, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong analytical, research, and financial evaluation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Self-driven, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
