Our clients, a prominent leader in their industry, is currently seeking a Corporate Finance/Strategy Lead. This role partners closely with senior leadership, commercial teams, and operations to drive profitable growth, evaluate strategic initiatives, and support M&A, capital allocation, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth & Portfolio Management: Lead the development of multi-year growth plans, focusing on market penetration, category expansion, and portfolio optimization.
- Lead development of corporate strategy, long-range plans, and annual strategic reviews
- Support portfolio strategy (brands, SKUs, categories, geographies) based on profitability, growth, and market trends
- Conduct market, competitor, and consumer economics analysis
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable financial and operational initiatives
- Build and own financial models for strategic initiatives, business cases, and investments
- Evaluate capital allocation decisions including capex, new product launches, pricing initiatives, and capacity expansion
- Support ROI and scenario analysis for major decisions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to accelerate market entry or acquire new product capabilities.
- Evaluate joint ventures, licensing, and strategic partnerships
- Lead cross-functional special projects sponsored by the executive team
- Develop and track strategic KPIs (growth, margins, working capital, ROIC)
- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials for Board and leadership meetings
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- CFA or CPA/ACCA qualified
- Min 5-8 years of working experience within Corporate Finance/Strategy
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Experience working with senior leadership and influencing decision-making
