Job Responsibilities
As the Corporate Secretary Executive / Senior Executive, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and handle a broad range of corporate secretarial matters with minimal supervision.
- Perform the full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Organise and administer General Meetings, Board Meetings, and Committee Meetings, including preparation of agendas, meeting papers, and drafting of minutes.
- Maintain statutory books, registers, and secretarial records, and ensure timely submission of statutory filings with relevant authorities (e.g. CCM).
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including reviewing work where required.
- Assist managers in client advisory engagements, including matters relating to corporate secretarial compliance, liquidation, and related services.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Corporate Administration/Business Studies/Management/Law, or equivalent.
- Qualified ICSA member/ICSA candidates currently undertaking final professional papers, with 2-4 years of relevant corporate secretarial experience.
- Well-versed in corporate secretarial practices and good working knowledge of the Companies Act 2016 and related regulations.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in supervising or guiding junior staff will be an added advantage.
